Miniature Painting Class

Location: Atelier at 1109. 1109 2nd St, Perry, IA 50220

Date: Saturday, March 4th, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Max class size: 15

Cost: $50 

Open to people of all skill levels, including kids with adult supervision. (Will work with advanced painters on an individual basis on higher level painting.)

Painters will be provided with the model they will get to paint and take home, all other equipment and materials is provided but returned at the end of the event

Topics covered: 

-Equipment used/how to use them.

-Basic 3-step painting process for first time painters and younger painters. (base coat, shade, highlight)

-techniques like dry brushing and edge highlighting.

-introduction to volumes and how light interacts with objects.
