Description:

The Carp-beth sweater is a raglan crop top and knit starting from the hem. The scale pattern sleeves and body are joined at the armpits and continues in the round to the neck. The yarn content for this class is Superwash wool and silk, giving it a lofty sheen.

Participants will need to knit a gauge swatch with yarn used for your sweater before class. Knit 35 stitches in the round for 25 rounds. Soak in lukewarm water for 10 minutes, squeeze water out, and lay flat to dry on a towel. A gauge swatch worksheet will be provided in first class to determine what size to knit.

Yarn and stitch markers are available for purchase at Atelier at 1109. Yarn needles, scissors, scrap yarn, ball winder, and tape measure will be provided. Please bring your knitting needles. Additional information about yarn below.
