Have you been wanting to learn to weave? We have just the class for you! Learn the basics of the Rigid Heddle Loom to get started weaving!
This class consists of two 3 hour sessions. Session #1 will be on December 5th from 9 am to 12 pm. Session #2 will be on December 19th from 9 am to 12 pm.
The first class would get you familiar with the looms and terms, how to properly warp a loom and begin weaving a scarf. During the second session, we'll do mug rugs using pick up sticks. Through this class you'll learn 4 different patterns.
Supplies:
>For the first session, you will need 2 skeins of worsted weight yarn.
>For the second session, you will need black worsted weight yarn and a contrasting color of worsted weight yarn. (You can use the same for all for mug rugs or change the colors.)
Class Cap: 6 people
(Students will need to bring their own 15" Cricket Loom. Rentals can be provided for an additional $50 rental fee.)
