Wyatt Whelchel - Our Town Art
Wyatt Whelchel was born in Jefferson IA, and grew up in Perry for most of his childhood and teenage years. His interest in art began at an early age from watching his mom create stained glass pieces and his older brothers clay pottery. Wyatt has always enjoyed painting, sketching and more recently pour art. Wyatt gathers inspiration for his work from a rare eye disease that he has causing his vision to slowly decrease over time. He finds joy in all types of art and is very proud of his town for the opportunity to display his artwork and teach others.
